This Type book was done for my typography class. It is meant as a project that implements many type exercises in one place so that while doing the exercises, you are able to practice using a system to present the information. As well as designing a cohesive book, we researched all about type - from the anatomy to the classifications.
Rockwell is the primary typeface - it is used with intention to mimic the perpendicular lines of a type drawer. I used a basic grid system and put all of the information within 2 inch columns or rows, as slab serif type has equal weight in both stroke and serif.
8" x 8" book covered with craft paper.
